About the role 🧐

Are you the technical leader we’re looking for? We’re searching for a Teamlead Backend Development to lead our technical team and provide innovative solutions for our platform. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with other teams, make technical decisions, and contribute to the ongoing development of our leading onboarding platform.

As Teamlead Backend Development, you’ll be not just a technical expert but also a coach and motivator for your team. You’ll ensure that everyone in your team delivers their best while working together on the future of our platform. This is your chance to make a real impact on tens of thousands of users worldwide!

What you’ll be doing

  • Leading and developing the technical team, aligning with the product strategy.

  • Making technical decisions that contribute to the product’s vision and the success of the platform.

  • Motivating, coaching, and developing team members to perform at their best (our team currently consists of 5 developers).

  • Translating stakeholder feedback into necessary technological improvements.

  • Collaborating with the development team to assess feature implementation and time estimates.

  • Align with Gijs (Director of Product & Development) on product developments and strategies.

Our ideal match 💗

The perfect candidate might not exist, but here’s what we think you should bring to the table:

  • Proven experience (5+ years) as a senior developer with at least 2 years of experience leading a development team;

  • A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent);

  • Experience with developing in Ruby on Rails (React is a bonus);

  • Strong analytical skills and experience with technological research;

  • Experience in a SaaS startup or scale-up is a plus.
